FAQs

I don’t know how to pose! Can you help?

Absolutely! I am well versed in giving direction and guiding you to look and feel your best. I am here to offer suggestions and ideas, while keeping your comfort and vision for the shoot in mind. You also have the added comfort of working with a female photographer.

Do I have to show my face?

Absolutely not! It’s your shoot and we won’t do anything you’re not comfortable with. I do fully clothed lifestyle imagery, as well as lingerie, and nude. It’s 100% up to you and your vision for the shoot.

I want to shoot, but I don’t have any ideas.

Relatable! My advice is to ask yourself a few questions to help get the ball rolling. First of all, think about your desired audience and what you’re trying to communicate. This will help you get the most out of the shoot. Do you want to convey your artistic side, your sensual side, or your outdoorsy side? Or a combination? Second, think about what images you’re attracted to and most importantly: why. Flip through magazines, Pinterest, Instagram, etc for inspiration. Make a moodboard and look for outfits that fit into the vibe of the shoot. I’m always available to offer advice or answer questions beforehand.

How many outfits should I bring?

I recommend anywhere between 5-8 outfits for 3 and 4 hour shoots and 5-10 outfits for full-day shoots.

Who will see my photos?

Just me. I take your privacy very seriously and will never share your images without your explicit prior permission. Your images will never be shared on my website or social media without prior permission. Your images are stored securely and can be permanently deleted at your request.

How do I know if we are a good fit?

Fabulous question. One thing to keep in mind when you’re booking a shoot is how aligned you are with the photographer you’re hiring. Making sure you are on the same page in terms of style and expectations sets you up for a better shooting experience and even better results! A few things to keep in mind:

Start by getting a sense of my style of photography and ensure that this is the style you want for your shoot. If not, no worries! There are many talented photographers you can work with to help you achieve the results you want.

Make sure my editing style is in line with what you want in your photos. My retouching is subtle and minimal to correct for imperfections while still looking natural.

And, that’s it! Again, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

How did you get started?

During the pandemic, I started shooting male nudes as a hobby (what else was there to do?) and then ended up studying photography in New York City. I experimented with different styles and subject matters and eventually realized my true passion for boudoir images not only for their incredible beauty but for their positive expression of female sensuality and challenging of social norms. My work is a celebration of women’s sexuality, power and bodily autonomy and that is what drives me to stay inspired and keep creating.

Can I edit the photos myself?

Yes and no. If it is an image I have edited, I ask that you do not make any changes yourself. I pride myself on the quality and consistency of my work and any edits you make yourself will comprise the integrity of my work. Exceptions such as adding your own text overlay or watermark are fine. If you would like any tweaks or changes to your edits, please just ask. I’m happy to accommodate small changes within reason.

If you have purchased the unedited gallery, you may make edits yourself and/or post the unedited version. All I ask is that you indicate on your post that this is an edited image or edited by you so that others are not confused about the quality of my work.

How many images can I expect to receive in the proofs gallery?

I will send you a curated selection of the best images from our shoot. I find clients get overwhelmed when I send them several hundred proofs to go through and I want to ensure you have the best and most stress-free experience possible. I also want to make sure you receive only the highest-quality images that best represent you and my work. Expect the proofs gallery to contain around 200 images for a 3 or 4 hour shoot.
